Ma famille
J'ai 2 frères plus âgés que moi dont l'un est marié avec 2 enfants. Je suis le parrain du plus turbulent par ailleurs ( on se demande pourquoi...) Mes parents habitent une maison en Dordogne ou je passe Noël en famille lorsque j'en ai l'occasion. J'ai beaucoup voyagé et cela même avant le patinage. Grâce au travail de mon père nous nous  sommes beaucoup promenés en Afrique.

My family
I have two older brothers, one is married and has two children. By the way, I’m the Godfather of the most unruly of the two (how come ?…). Our family residence is a remodeled farm in Perigord (my mother is an architect). Given the opportunity,  I can spend Christmas with my family, even if this means traveling early in the morning and coming back early on the next day. I traveled a lot, and that,  even before I was an ice dancer, thanks to my father’s work that sent the whole family roaming around Africa and the Pacific.

Mes débuts sur la glace et mon parcours scolaire
Je suis revenu en France a l'âge de 7 ans ou j’étais un touche-a-tout... Ainsi après avoir essayé le judo, la natation et bien d'autres sports je me suis retrouvé en danse sur glace et quasiment tout de suite, avec une partenaire. Encore une fois j'ai beaucoup bougé : je déménage et change de ville en moyenne tous les 7 ou 8 ans. Après avoir débuté a Brive-la-Gaillarde, je suis parti pour Brest où j'ai passé mes années Lycée, puis je suis venu sur Lyon pour m'entraîner avec M. Boucher... pour enfin débarquer ici, a Moscou, en Russie ( la patrie du patinage ). Après avoir passé mon Deug à l’Ufr-Staps, je me suis orienté vers des études plus “médicales”: c’est ce qui m’attirait depuis longtemps, mais il est vrai qu’en tant que sportif de haut niveau, les 2 voies sont pas toujours faciles à gérer et l’on doit faire des choix ! Aujourd’hui, je poursuis ma 3°année dans mes études d'ostéopathie, à l’école de Limonest, plus ou moins par correspondance, donc  tant bien que mal !

My skating carrier and my student life
I came back to France when I was 7. I was a jack of all trades … After I tried  judo, swimming and a lot of  other sports, I found myself ice dancing, and almost immediately I had a partner (Sonia Cassagrande). Once again I moved often : in fact, I relocate in a new city every 7 or 8 years. After I started  ice skating in Brive la Gaillarde,   I went to live in Brest where I spent my secondary school years. Then I crossed France West to East,  to train under Mrs Murielle Boucher’s guidance in Lyon. To finally land here, in Moscow, Russia (motherland of ice-skating). After I passed my DEUG at UFR-SAPS, I moved towards more “medical” studies. That’s what had appealed to me for a long time but I must admit  that to jointly manage an athlete career and University curricula is no piece of cake. From  time to time choices have to be made !  These days I’m pursuing my 3rd year at the  Osteopathy school of Limonest, more or less over the Internet and it’s a bit chaotic…
